Here are some contributions from EXOSEC to the Linux project. Exosec regularly contributes time and efforts in stabilizing and extending existing software, developping and packaging OpenSource solutions, and maintaining the Formilux Distribution secure and up to date. Parts of the work below are also used to harden Exceliance's Network Security Appliances

• the watchdog directory contains a Watchdog Timer driver for Linux 2.4 for NexGate Network Security Appliances (eg: NSA1045). This driver was developped by EXOSEC for use in its NSA-based systems.
• the lcdpanel directory contains an LCD+Keypad driver for various panel types and protocols. EXOSEC has extended this driver to fully support the NSA's LCD and Keypad.
• the kernel directory contains Linux 2.4 Hotfixes as well as feature- and security-enhanced kernels for the 2.4 series. Amongst other things, these kernels include PaX, which provides a strong protection against buffer overflow attacks. Most recent versions also include the watchdog and lcdpanel drivers above. These are the kernels shipped by default with Formilux.
• the formilux directory contains a recent ISO image of the Formilux installation CDROM. Exosec has been using this secure distribution in production for nearly 4 years and fairly increased its security, stability, ease of installation, and capabilities of failure recovery. We'll try to make more frequent updates and make the individual packages available for download soon.
